Have had this issue where I will drop the planter down and enter the next round and it will leave a 10 to 20 foot dead spaces of kernels then take off. Just my 2 cents, the 1780 is not my favorite bar, when folded it is heavy on the draw bar, when turning on the ends the planter will pick up the weight on the draw bar making it difficult to make turns, will take front wheel assit to pull. Not good in wet conditions, a boat anchor if you lift planter.
