After 5 long years I decided to purchase a new carry piece since I now have my MD W&C. Well I had a 77R filled out since 2018. Nothing has change other than my maybe height and weight. I checked today and I’m under “second review” on this Thursday night. Made the purchase Saturday afternoon and 77r forwarded same day. The clock for a 77R starts at the point the FFL completes their side of the 77R and you receive the ‘successfully submitted’ message. However, the clock is interpreted by MSP as seven business days, not seven calendar days. This means that the timing can be impacted by weekends and holidays.
