In any event, I am curious about this "Magnificent Magnavox". It is a model 288-H1, high-gloss black in color, with sliding glass top (black with gold splatter). The turn table is made in england, and it has a Tape input and output on the pre-amp/tuner part. It is both AM and FM with a Tuning Eye tube.I saw a Magnificent Magnavox Tube Console at the GW today. I could not find a model number on it. It also had a seperate speaker cabinet of about the same size. It was a light colored[almost yellow] wood. They both had small short legs.
