That's not how sub-quests works in this game. Unless a sub-quest is added when they tell you they need something, you don't need to collect them. There is no sub-quests that triggers after you bring an NPC something they asked for, no the sub-quest would already have triggered when they asked you for it to begin with, if it exists.Test with a known working probe by connecting it directly to the G12. For whatever reason, this quest is a main quest and not a side quest. Look again in your log ;) Probably because it leads to Pikango appearing in stables all around Hyrule to give hints to Memory locations.
